We also urge all Pyr Shep owners to plan ahead for future projects by storing some of your dog's DNA (blood draw or cheek swab) in the CHIC DNA Repository. This is an inexpensive way for you to ensure that your dog's sample will be available now and beyond your dog's lifetime for vital research projects.*

Breeders are encouraged to do CHIC DNA cheek swabs on all of your puppies before they leave to go to their new homes.
